Inspection of Imported Scrap
CUSTOMERS: Companies, Traders whom import the scrap for the processing materials
SUBJECTS OF INSPECTION: The scraps of plastics, metals, plasters, copper, aluminum, nickel, chromium,… are allowed to be imported as raw materials for production under Decision No. 73/2014/QD-TTg dated 19/12/2014.
LEGAL FOUNDATION:
- Circular No. 41/2015/TT-BTNMT dated 09/09/2015 on the environmental protection during the import of scrap materials for production
- Decision No. 893/QD-BTNMT dated 20/04/2016 to designate FCC company to certify for imported scrap as raw materials for production in conformity with environmental technical standards.
INSPECTION/TESTING SERVICES PERFORMED:
- Certification of imported scrap in conformity with technical standards of environment.

Documents to be submitted:
- Application for inspection, stating the inspection requirements, time and place of inspection, contact person
- Information on the shipment (Bill Lading, packing list, customs declaration, invoice,...)
